Anybody have a really, really nice heater control unit or a 67-68? I'm looking for the silver/chrome one, not the black. Thanks.

The chrome and silver ones were 1969-1972. All 67-68 were originaly black. WES

I didn't realize that. I thought at lease the 67-68 CST models had chrome.

i recently pulled a heater contol from a 67 that was silver not chrome or black, and it looked original , i cant remeber the color of the out side of it though

the glove box had an option for deluxe heater control
scotth has the heater control now he can varify this he was with me when i picked up the truck. i dont remeber who got the glove box

so there may actualy have been another heater control for 67 if i did nt see it for my self i would question it.

just a suggestion if you find a black one and have your heart set on the chrome one, chevy duty sells a rebuild kit for those with new levers the silver sticker. everything to really make it look sharp. Just a suggestion.

This is the one that I had, has a black face out of a 68 Chevy.

As an FYI, I can verify JC on the heater control taken out of the 67. The glove box definitely listed deluxe heater control and it is chrome/silver on the outside. Sorry not for sale but if anyone wants a pic just let me know.
