Anybody run soft doors?

Just curious if anybody runs soft doors on their blazer, like the jeep (boo! Hiss!) guys do. Pics appreciated...my blazer is a far cry from road legal but I'm considering options for when it is.

Not the same way.1 bolt in each hinge and they came off.

Funny, mine is (street legal) and I'm wanting to find/make soft doors for when it isn't.
My doors are coming off next time we go out wheelin' eitherway.

You'll just have to make a bunch and sell em Ochre.

Your hinge pins should have pulled out.

Re: Anybody run soft doors?

There was a guy on CK5.com that made some soft doors for his 2nd Gen Blazer. He built them so they latched on the door pillar latch.

Many, many years ago, I saw a Blazer with the fiberglass covers over the door frames like you can get for early broncos. It was nice, but not very practicle in the Northwest (the truck was in Albany, OR). I don' think it had any doors though.

Re: Anybody run soft doors?

I`d like to cut-down a door for a step-through type like a Jeep for an off road Blazer, like those fiberglass inserts.

I agree and have thought about it a fair amount but the biggest problem is the latch location, it's so high on the door that it makes for a 'different' door opening solution to be designed.

Anybody cut into one yet?
