Need Info

i need to know how to pull the ignition lock cylinder out without a key, a friend only had one key to his el camino, and he lost it.

Most of the GM collumns, pull the steering wheel, remove the lock plate under the wheel. You have to unscrew the turn signal cam, and depending on year, it's either a phillips or torq head screw and the lock pulls right out.

it is a 73 ss454 el camino, he has not key to turn the locking cylinder, is that still how it will come out

It should. Some of the older columns have a slot that you have to slide feeler stock into instead of the screws, but the rest of the removal is the same.
