Bought another Project (67) (Picture Added)
I got a bone stock 1967 Chevy PU with a 327 Four Barrel, Th400 Tranny and not sure what is in the Differential yet. Everything is there. The Truck was owned by an old granny (Didn't have a Led Foot). Just a little rust in the drivers rocker. It is a long bed but I am going to make it a short bed. I cant believe how unmolested this truck is. No holes in the dashboard, everything is there even the moldings. I got the truck for $600. My wife doesn't know it yet so I am in deep sh__!!!! Oh well you got do what you got to do!!!!
I will post some pictures of it when I get it home. That is if I am still alive. JRB Last edited by JRB; 04-12-2006 at 03:42 PM. |

Re: Bought another Project (67)
Must be the only granny that had West Coast mirrors on her truck. Looks like an excellent buy for $600.
BTW, how are you on terms with the Misses??? |

Re: Bought another Project (67)
Throw a mattress in the back and your good to go. I did the same thing with a basket case '67 GTO. She was Pissed so she went and bought a $2000.00 Electrolux Vacumn cleaner. That thing worked great sweeping out that car, and I'm still married to her.

Re: Bought another Project (67)
Well I have convinced myself that the $1000 dollar mark is the (Tell the wife marker). I have myself convinced of that but if I could get my wife to buy into it and she would think she came up with that idea then I would be in good shape!!!! Still Hopein

Re: Bought another Project (67)
that's a good deal. I gave $300. for one optioned like that but it doesn't run and body isn't as nice. It does have AC and the speed warning. Glass was broken out.
Any trucks like that, running or close to it under a grand are a deal in my book. If you weren't so far away I'd take the long bed. |

Re: Bought another Project (67)
Bishops Trucks,
Thanks for the show of support for the momentary laps of sence. I think women expect us to screw up every now and then just so they will have something to yell at us about. If it wasnt for the Short Step 69, shortwide 64, shortwide 63, short step 56 bigwindow and now longbed 67 she might have more of a sence of humor about the whole thing. JRB |
