Wheelbase?
I was wondering if anyone knows the wheelbase of the longbeds and shortbeds?

SWB = 115
LWB = 127 There's also a 133" WB pickup, known in one form as a Lonhorn.

Thanks gmcblu,so the 73 to 87 are a few inches longer?I have a 72 3/4 4wd and a buddy of mine has a 67 shortstep.I was playing with the idea of cutting mine.

Yeah, I know the wheelbase is longer on the 73-87 trucks, not sure about overall.
Frame shortening is a pretty common thing. If you start another thread asking about the details you'll get plenty of advice, I think. Good luck. BTW, ever thought about swapping someone for a SWB? That'd be one rough-riding pickup!
