It's down the road from me, it is a very nice truck, but I think he wants more than the average "joe" wants to throw down for it...

Yeah definitely not 4 inch exhaust and those are BFG tires not good year. I don't think this guy knows the truck very well, probably bought it short time ago.

It's not a Scottsdale either.
That looks very familiar. Looking at some of the things that are painted and the color used, I am guessing it may have been restored the first time by the same guy that did my 77 Cheyenne. I doubt that he added the 502 though.

That looks like a later update. It's a nice truck regardless...

Re: Holy Crap Does This One Belong To Any Of You Guys?

From what I understood throught the wind...The truck came from a performance shop in Texas, there was a factory 454 in it that was swapped for the 502, which is actually a true 496 from what I've heard not 502, thats just the valve covers. It's been here for a year I think, regardless, lots of potential there...that is if you take away the 25,000 dollar tag and the fact that he bought it for $8500.

Re: Holy Crap Does This One Belong To Any Of You Guys?

I was thinking at first glance it was Ken's before he bagged it and changed the wheels. He's definantely trying to flip it for $$$ like Steve just mentioned.

Re: Holy Crap Does This One Belong To Any Of You Guys?

It could be 3" up to the muffs. But that does look like 2.5 that rolls around the axles and out the back.

Perhaps we need to be more specific. I see Dealer plates on it which means the dealer likes to tell crap.

It has Good Year on for tires? Interesting when the pic shows that they are BFG's. Now, I guess we are forgetting to ask. Is there a spare tire and if so, does that have a Good Year on it?

3" exhaust. Okay, I see that there are headers. Perhaps 3" exhaust stops after the collectors. Technically it would have 3" exhaust, it just necks down to 2.5 right away.

I have learned that you need to be specific when talking to dealers. I bought a truck that had new ball joints. New ball joints, to me, mean upper and lower. NOPE! Just upper ones were done.

One more thing to note might be that the Headers do not look to be stainless but rather ceramic coated?
