Where to get yoke for driveshaft?

Anyone know where I can find one? LMC doesn't have them, the auto stores are closed tonight. I just screwed mine up, not too happy. It has 16 splines, measures approx 4 3/4 inches from center of ujoint hole to end of spline. This fits on the tranny on a 2 piece driveshaft, 68 chevy, 3 spd tranny. Thanks for any help.

Try a driveshaft shop, if there's one nearby. You can also probably locate one at a junkyard, take your old one in to match.

I took it on by a drive shaft place today and they had one, thanks all, and thanks Brad, sorry I missed that, I am sure yours is a better deal.

Re: Where to get yoke for driveshaft?

make sure the splines are correct - my '68 3spd had 27/28 splines (can't remember exactly, off the top of my head).

i was running one of the synchronized '69 saginaw 3spd trannies though, so ...

Yeah, shifty they are different. He has the Muncie version-I can tell by the yokes. I just did this swap myself and just love having a syncro first!

Re: Where to get yoke for driveshaft?

isn't it great?! i bet i'll like my 6spd .... TWICE as much as my 3spd, and with the same splines and driveshaft!

if anyone nearby needs a 27/28 spline at any point, i have one spare (thanks, "uncle").
