She is officially gone...
Well, it is official now. My baby and I have parted ways. As of this weekend, I turned over the title to my uncle. It has been on his lot for a good three to four years now. It had sat for almost a year at my parents house. I have way too much needing my attention at the moment that I know it will be much latter than sooner that I would be able to give her some attention (And more importantly $$) So instead, I handed her over to my uncle as I know he will give her the attention she needs. Actually, he is just deciding on a carb and should have the engine ready to drop in. It will be nice to see her on the road again. At least I can come and visit and take her for a drive I know for a fact though, that one day I will have another! Hopefully you guys don't mind me sticking around until then.
For those who don't recall what she looks like, here are some pix. |

At first I thought you meant your new wife!
You can always get another truck later when you have the time and money. I would say that, if it hasn't run in that much time, you probably made the right decision. Slonaker |

Re: She is officially gone...
You don't need a truck to talk to the good people here, just the fact that you love these trucks is all you need.

Good luck with living without one of these trucks. It's only a matter of time before your an owner again. In the meantime just hang out with us until you get the next one.

At least you know who the owner is and like you mentioned be able to drive it from time to time. You'll be wanting another one in time and you'll be ready for it along with us to help out along the way.

Re: She is officially gone...
Well, neither he or my dad are too into cusomization, but at least, they take care of them. I don't think my uncle has anything special planned for it other than to get her running and just slowly fixing all that needs fixing to get her in good shape. He just pretty much needs a driver right now. I am sure that is all he will use her for.
I don't have any pix of my dad's truck, but I will try to get some today or tomorrow and post them up here for you guys to look at. He uses it as a work truck. |
