Who sells em?

Does anybody know where a guy can get a brand spanking new set of rear fenders for a 71 long bed? The only place I've seen em is Brothers and they're always way more expensive than everybody else. I"m thinking even if I pay 400 bucks a side it will still be ballpark to what I'd have to pay to get my current bedsides fixed.

Most of the suppliers should be able to get them - try www.shermanparts.com

Re: Who sells em?

unless things have changed in the past couple years the only way I know of would involve a time machine. another option is to lengthen a set of short bed sides but the cost would probably be more than fixing your old ones.

Re: Who sells em?

Are you talking about buying new bedsides or new stepside fenders? If you're talkin fenders for a stepside, the cheapest I have found them was for $375 at the Charlotte autofair from The Truck Shop. As far as I know there are no reproduction longbed fleet or step bedsides being produced, only short.

Re: Who sells em?

I couldn't find a long bed side. I got a straight used one for $100 off Craig's List.

Unfortunately I found this out earlier on today too. The guy pointed me in the way of a good body shop or said i could buy one off him in pristing shape for 950. To say the least I"ll see what the bodyshop has to say.
