Good News....

Well,
I can now hopefully say that my truck should most definately be ready to ride......barring any unforseen obstacles which is expected with these damn old trucks. I got word from the home front that the brakes are working like a MO FO!! my dad picked up my re-upholstered seat on tuesday and dropped it in. we took it in on saturday. Just plane black vinyl and black velour..quilted a bit. And now I wont be getting old foam particles everywhere I'll get some pics soon. Had to have the drive shaft rebalanced and replaced the Master cylinder once again (it didn't match the booster) then the one we had gotten started leaking so my dads mechanic just said "F*** it...lets go get a new one"

Hes a great guy...not the same guy...another guy a good freind of my dads. We put in the wheel cylinders together and the brake shoes. I will have a resident mechanic for a while being that he is going through a divorce and he needs some where to work and hold some of his stuff....and he told my dad that he could give us some percentage of his profits...cool. I don't want money...I just want some discounted mechanical service. And whenever he has some work at our place I will always 'be in the way' to see what he's doing!!!
No word on my dads car yet...man that was a damn good chevrolet. Oh well....thats it just wanted to share my week with you all. Thanks for listening....no body else wants to ...we know how that goes!!!
