Dust shield and how to install....

i bought a disk brake setup from McGaugys and i do not know how to install the dust shield. Well, it never came with any bolts but they clearly mount onto the spindle in 3 places. Where would i get the bolts? a hardware store? and how far can the bolt head come out before it rubs against the rotor. Another thing, on the spindle the first thing i install is the shield, then that little round metAl piece with the rubber inside, or vice versa? The bleeder valve on the caliper should be facing up right? And the last thing is the last big screw that goes on the spindle, does that need to be torqued down and if so how much? of course i will install the cotter pins after its all done. I know that is a lot to ask but i appreciate the help and still would be stuck a long ways back if it were not for this board. thanks.

I would contact them directly, maybe they forgot the bolts, reguardless
they should have some on hand that they can give you specs on

You can pick up self tapping bolts at your local hardware store to mount the dust shields a standard bolt head will not rub the rotor, dust shields install first, then install inner wheel bearings after packing with grease in back of rotor followed by the seal, then slide rotor on and install outer bearing after packing with grease followed by washer & nut, you lost me on the big screw on spindle wanting to know torque spec because I don't know of any screws, their are nuts that have torque values for uuper & lower ball joints and the spindle nut is adjusted by tightening nut to 15 foot lbs while spinning the wheel then back it off 1/6 of a turn so that cotter pin can be installed through spindle and nut this sets bearing clearance at .000-.007, spin wheel to make sure it still spins freely if so install dust cap if wheel did not spin freely back off 1/6 turn more and install cotter pin, upper ball joint torque is 70 ft lbs, lower ball joint is 120 ft lbs, tie rod ball joint nuts torqu to 30ft lbs, tie rod clamp bolts torque to 20ft lbs.
I believe this covered all your questions, if not post again on other questions and I'm sure someone will jump in with the info.

My spindles didn't come with bolts for the dust shields either, but the holes were already tapped so I just bought some stainless bolts for them.

They're 5/16 bolts, 3/4 inch long.

By the way, the rubber gasket deal goes onto the spindle, BEHIND the back plate.
