396/427 block, cheap!
It's time to get this out of the garage. Come and get it for $40.
396/427 block, .030 over. Will definitely need tanked & bored to clean up. The bores don't have any pitting, but they are rusty. Casting # 3855961 (396/427 '65-'66) Date code: F 19 5 (July 8, '65) Stamp pad code: TO 708 IV R21 3919 (396ci/325hp) This older casting block requires the rear cam journal to be grooved. An old-school machinist should be familiar with that. All the main caps and bolts are on it. None look blue(spun), but without tanking it's hard to make that call. I'd probably line hone and deck it anyway, but that's just me.  Thanks Clay **I realize this thing doesn't look great...
