Those billet vents look like a fine upgrade over stock. OEM vent balls lose their *chrome* coating over time. The plastic scratches, too. Billet would also resolve paint issues for those not wanting to have to paint monocolor repro A/C housings when just adding A/C.

I assume the OEM A/C hoses fit the billet vent housings and the vent housings fit the dash curves perfectly? CAA offers those? BTW, does CAA have a website? I can never find it. Catalog?

Did CAA's A/C unit only draw incoming air from inside the cab?

Re: Classic Auto Air (AC) is in! Review...

FirstGen - Hope you find a chance to reply - even though you and your truck was so unfortunate...

I don't have a center vent or side vents either - so I need some info on cutting those holes. What exactly did CAA provide in the way of the center vent hole? Is it something I could get without buying an entire kit from them?

On your side vents - I am using a similar billet vent - just the Billet Specialties brand like those. How did you go about cutting those holes without screwing up the paint around the dash where you cut? I am afraid it will "flake" if I just use a hole saw. Any tips, advice, etc.? Thanks man.
