I wonder if he was smart enough to keep the Original engine

It looks like a killer unmolested bargain, if it is still complete

Yeah, that's a sweet looking ride. Wish it was closer, would be worth a bid or two. Can't believe he doesn't have a reserve on it.

Re: Check this jewell out. E-bay 72 CST

HOLD ON

I don't get it. What do you all like so much about this ride? I believe my blazer is quite similar to this one.
Granted, i don't have as nice of an interior.., and i dont have nice new paint like his.
Not sure what else is different though. Not sure about his "new gm350" - but i'd be willing to bet (knock on wood, now that i say this mine will probably blow up - kidding!) ,... willing to be that my blazer runs as good. OH, and, my blazer DOES have it's orig. engine.

Mine is not the stock ride height like this one, but was before I had it lifted. I prefer it being lifted and did it the right way. I understand people look for stock ride height "un molested" blazers, but as I said I prefer mine taller, and it was all dont correctly. I dont plan on selling it any time soon anyways.

Ok, so, the ebay blazer in question has a nicer _______ then mine..
- interior
- paint job
- orig grill ( i like mine better!)
- a/c (mines a non a/c - CST..)
- hard top ( i sold mine, it was maybe not as nice, but not crap)
- don't know if this ebay blazer had the dash cut to fit that deck in, but i can tell you my dash is un-cut.

So if i paint mine, and finish the interior, then it should be, " a nice one, nice find, super sweet , and beautiful" ???

Maybe i'm dumb and have a low opinion of my blazer, i guess i feel most of yours are just too nice to compare mine too... but then i see you all saying how nice this one is... doesnt look soo special to me. No pics of a super spotless chasis etc. Just wondering.. thanks for the enlightenment guys.

I'll even include a pic of mine before it was lifted (a pic that makes the paint look ok too!).
The interior is pretty much stripped.... Just front seats, front carpet, and also door panels (no tub/bed panels - ripped them out, they were junky).

look on the pass. side of this ebay one the floor doesnt even look that nice..(link)

Re: Check this jewell out. E-bay 72 CST

I'm not going to get into the dicussion on whos blazer is better !!!

But I do have some observations on the e-bay blazer.
High bid is currently 10,550 thats a lot of money
Is there any rust?? pass rocker looks a little discolored
72 Doors no "wing window screw"
This has a really high bid on it. was it repainted (unrestored?)
Don't get me wrong I like the blazer and it is in better condition than mine, but is it worth 10K ???

Re: Check this jewell out. E-bay 72 CST

That blazer was for sale on ebay some time ago I remember the pic and being in GA. It is a nice looking blazer. No mention of trouble areas. As far as unmolested. The boys at the GM plant must have been drinking the day they painted it. Notice the white hood hinges in the pic and the white over spray on the hood

10,550 is what it sold for. I would have to put some good insurance on it.
