Axle tube diameter?

Hey guys,
I was wondering if the axle tube diameters are the same on a 14sf and a 14ff. im trying to buy a lift component kit from skyjacker. i will be putting a dana 44hd front in my truck with a 14ff rear and i was just wondering if the rear u-bolts would work from their 3/4 ton kit or do i have to buy the 1 ton kit to get the right rear u-bolts... am i making any sense? haha i know what im trying to say... just dont know how to say it.

Re: Axle tube diameter?

They are the same. When I put a 14b sf 6-lug in mine, I used standard 3/4 ton u bolts. 14b ff was in 3/4 tons up to 1981 and the 14b sf was in from 81-87
