My Monster 1996 Silverado on 49" Iroks
Thought I would share how my 1996 Silverado on a custom 1985 Frame worked out.

The Body is put on a 1985 stretched Chevy 4x4 frame. That way I would have the cheapest lift springs with a huge lift a lot cheaper than having really expensive lift springs made. Also the abundance of available parts for those 73-91 style trucks made it easy to select that route. Of course it took some work to make it look good and be functional.
The truck will be a pavement pounder/show truck until a Dana 60 falls into my lap, then it will be a big play toy.
