Engine Mount Bolts

Hi Everyone,
Tonight I picked up the new rubber engine mounts, and tomorrow before I yank the engine & trans out of the truck, I need a few bolts.

What size bolts do I need to mount the rubber mount to the side of the '72 350 sbc?
Also the size on the 2 that holds the rubber mount to the tower? I never had side engine mounts on my '62, just a single front engine mount (wish bone type on '60-62's).

the side of the block will take 3/8" bolts. the ones that go into the mounts are 7/16" I think.

Agree, 3/8 bolt by 3/4 inch long.

I picked up grade 8 bolts, washers, lock washers, & nuts this morning. Tomorrow, the fun begins.

This morning before going to the hardware store, I put the side engine mount up to the side of the block. I'm running block hugger headers, and the passenger side just barely clears with approx a 1/4 of an inch. On the drivers side, it needs about a 1/4 of an inch taken off the top right corner in order to fit.
Do you guys think it's wise to grind off a 1/4 of an inch off the 1 corner edge?

I had to angle the one edge not very much,then it cleared.
Last night after I pulled the engine & trans out, and installing another TH350 behind the 350, my Dad & I lowered it back intot he truck to bolt it up with the '69 C10 engine mounts. EVerything bolted up right, except for the 1 bolt that holds the rubber mountto the engine towers.

1 engine mount was made in Korea, the other in India. They both came in the same box. After I ran the bolt(s) in, after getting snug, it would release,and would be loose again. I've found on a few spots on the trans that were metric bolts, could these 2 bolts be metric?

What do you guys think? I'm getting ready to head back out there, and yank the rubber mounts off of the block to check the threads out.

I fixed it. lol The made in Korea engine mount had to use a "machine" grade bolt, and the other just used a normal grade 8 bolt.
About an hour ago I finished her up, and took her around the blcok, boy there IS a big difference in 2 front engine mounts versus 1. That, and a good/nice & tight trans to boot.
If anyone wants to see a pic from earlier today after I finally got the engine mounted in the frame rails, ill try to get it up asap.

I am considering a set of block huggers myself, but would like to see how they look when mounted in a truck.

I have purchased the India variety of engine mount before where the threads were metric (M10 if I remember correctly)
