Fuel injected swaps

Looking into buying a Ram Jet 350 or a junkyard LS1 to drop into my tired engine compartment after I remove the 250 I-6. Anybody have any tips or words of wisdom? Any thoughts on either of these engine choices? Looking for reliability first, and power second. Both of these will get me over 300hp, got a superbike for the times I need to go fast.

Good judgment comes from experience, and experience, well......that comes from bad judgment.

1968 Chevy C-10 "Longshot": Bought used from my Uncle George in 1994 and proceeding to beat the hell out of it for 4 years. Sold it. Bought it back, dumped an ungodly amount of money into it since then.

Re: Fuel injected swaps

I went with a 04 6.0 genIII and 4L80Ewhich I'm in process still check out me thread. I think it's the best bang for the buck those motors stock with a tune can give you 350 hp and room for great improvement just my 2 cents.

Re: Fuel injected swaps

I had a lot of problems with the 4L80 transmisson in my 02 Silverado the Reation Shell and Pump went out one after the other. GM put a new transmission in it and it was fine. I have scence sold the truck and bought a new one with the 5.3L.
