i just swaped out the 6 for a 8 how do i make the 6cyl wires go into the hei on my 8 what wire goes where

Be more specific, plug wires? Start/Ignition switch wires? If you are reffering to the hot wire for the HEI you will have to make a new one that is from a keyed 12v source. The starter wire(s) should be the same, but you will just use the one to the solenoid since you are no longer running points.

Check the FAQ's there was a post of a colored wiring diagram, I don;t know them off the top of my head. Hope you get it running
