If you want to run more light than what the factory sold, I would recommend a seperate wiring harness to get the heavier wire and plugs for the wattage. The harnesses go directly to the battery and does not overload your light switch and possibly burn up the wiring and circuitry in it. The direct connection ensures that you get the full voltage from the battery and not the reduced voltage that is the result of going through the light switch and wiring.
