FS: 2 SWB 4x4 Frames (IL)

I have 2 swb 4x4 frames for sale. They both need work but the frame rail are in good shape. the one has both axles and the other is missing the rear. I'll get pics tomorrow. The one need rear spring perchs which i have and will include. I'm asking $150 each.

I also have a matching pair of 1980 3/4ton 4x4 axles. I was told they had 4.10 gears but will check if anyones interested. I'm asking $300 for the pair or will make someone a package deal also. Thanks Jason

Re: FS: 2 SWB 4x4 Frames (IL)

I have two, a 67 and a 72 SWB 4X4, truck that need frames. The are way rusted out or bent. Any idea if I can use one or both of yours? I want a factory frame for the 67 but also want to drive it now until I get one. The 72 is being built out of left overs so i don't care....if you have an idea, pm me
Thanks,
Steve

Steve, both frames are from late 70's trucks. I know people have used them under 67-72 trucks. Mudder has a very nice one on this style frame and my mud truck is on one. You would just have to use the cab mounts off the 67 frame and make your own rad. support mounts. I know it's hard to get decent 67-72 SWB 4x4 frames. You may also consider shortening a 67-72 LWB 4x4 frame. If done right, they look original. Thanks Jason
