A little progress on my 69 Step

Went to the Pate swapmeet last week, picked up rockers and cab corners, as well as a rebuilt tilt auto shift column and assembly manual all from Kenney's Trucks.

Started digging into the bondo removal that some previous genius slapped on...geeze, gonna need some more patch panels!






Also picked up a sweet set of plates for when she's ready to drive!

Nice lookin plates, almost had a set for my 72 just that they weren't truck plates

That doesn't look much different than where I am at on my 69 short step. I am going to weld the patch panels in this weekend on mine. I am hoping that I dont find much more rust in mine. Good luck with your Rocker panel and floor boards.

been there, done that and got the t-shirt. my truck (a '69 also) got two rockers, two cab corners outer floor boards and ,oh yea a whole roof from another truck,but well worth the work once your done .good luck with your project and keep us posted with new pictures and posts.
