Tires that dont pick up stones ?
I am looking for recomendations for a good tire that will not pick up many stones. Mabye a Protouring type tire ? I have Defenders right now and they pick up every rock on the road.
I need 255/60 and 275/60 on 15" rims. Thanks, Mario

My right rear doesn't pick up much, but it gets a little squirely in the rain now though.

Re: Tires that dont pick up stones ?
My new T/A Radials haven't picked up too many yet. My Dayton Daytona SR's sure picked up alot when they were new, so I don't recomend them.
Good Luck

I'm gonna have to second the T/A's, mine don't seem to pick up much.

Re: Tires that dont pick up stones ?
Mine do pretty good at throwing huge rocks. We're talking golf ball size, so I don't have much of a problem.

Here's another vote for the BFG T/A Radials.
I don't know of too many problems (knock on wood) that I've had. Wear is EXCELLENT too. |
