Residents issues with 67 Project

Since purchasing my 67 I have found that there is a Mouse and his family living in my glovebox. Also there are some realy pissed off bee's in there as well. Has anyone lit off one of those bug bombs in your truck? Im thinking I can kill them all at once or I guess I could always call the local exterminator.
Any Thoughts?

Bees or wasps? If its wasps and the nest isn't too big wd-40 will kill them, then just knock the nest down. If it's bees. . . uhh I dunno man.

As for mice, got a cat?

Never used a bug bomb in the cab but I'm sure it would eliminate the bees/wasps. No clue what effect it would have on the micesssss.

I`ve never heard of a bomb for bees/wasps.I have a thought, put and electrical charge to that bugger, like a trickle charge.Or,put something that vibrates against or in it.The mice will probably go outside now that it`s spring. They are usually seasonal residents.I assume you can`t see where the bees are at to give them a shot of spray.

Fire it up and run a hose from the exhaust inside, maybe the little buggers will commit suicide !!!

I am going to let the furry critters go at a not so nice Neighbors house and hit the rest of the truck with bee/wasp killer. I figure after a week I will pressure wash the entire truck and that should do it for the Bees/Wasps. Thanks for the ideas exspecially the exhaust hose!!!!

If they are bees, mix up some soapy water (dish washing liquid) in a fire extinguisher and spray the critters. The soap covers therir bodies and suffocates them.

Re: Residents issues with 67 Project

I got a Plymouth Scamp from free that was sitting out in a field for 15 years. There were tons of mice and other critters living in it. I set off two of those bug bombs inside and left it all closed up for a few days. I never saw anything alive in there again. I did find some dead mouse corpses in the back seat with a stack of cat fancy magazines. I thought that was kind of funny.

Do you think the bug bombs would kill the cats too? Just a thought.
