How do you decode frame #'s???
I pulled this number off of my frame - 2 S 161358. Can anyone tell me what it means?

It's a 72 frame from the St Louis Plant Assembly plant. The last 6 numbers are the last six of the original vin number...thats just one of the many things needed for a matching numbers vehicle.

Randy, they will be on the top of the drivers side frame, just slightly to the rear of where the steering box mounts. Kind of hard to see as they are usually covered with rust but willl show if sanded a bit.
