Fast blinker

Hate to sound stupid here but... My left turn signal is blinking very fast. I always thought this meant too small of a bulb, however it is the same bulb that has been in there a long time. It just started one day. Could it be a ground problem?

Re: Fast blinker

Well I could be wrong but have you checked your turn signal bulbs? In my case when my truck did that I just had a burnt out bulb, so you might check that.

Ya. Look for a bulb not burning. Usually on these it will be the rear ones. Real common on these model trucks. Sometimes you can clean the contacts and make them start working.

Re: Fast blinker

Change the silver flasher on your fuse block. The lower one. That is a sign of them starting to go bad.

Re: Fast blinker

Bulbs are all fine, have not tried flasher yet. Something I forgot to add before,
When I turn on four ways the left side slows down to normal speed.
