69 396 Quadrajet

I'm trying to determine what the correct Quadrajet carb is for my 69 GMC. It came factory with a 396 and turbo 400. I'd also be interested to know about the kickdown switch setup.

My thanks to anyone who can share info!

Sorry it took so long to get back to you on this but here goes

the carb # is 7029214 it has a lF at the end as well but none of the info I have found seems to need the lF sufix. Any of the sources on the internet I hav found list this as the carb # for 69 396 GM trucks. I hav a few photo's I can e-mail if you like.

Here is the pic of the kickdown switch I have. It came off of a big block 67-72 I had but I can not confirm that is the model year that is correct for these exact trucks. The truck it came off of had been pretty bastardized.

Hope this helps

Ray
