headlight trim - does this look right?

See pics below - is this gap abnormal? I have aftermarket trim, aftermarket fenders, and aftermarket rad support so I guess a tight fit is not in my future. I got it this close after bending the circular hole in the trim piece into an oval shape.

Its been so long since I had the truck together I've forgotten how much gap was there!

Have you adjusted your headlights? That could be part of the problem.

Re: headlight trim - does this look right?

You have your trim rings on the wrong sides and upside down.

Re: headlight trim - does this look right?

Are you sure that you have the correct year trim rings?
There was a difference between 67-68 and 69 to 72

Re: headlight trim - does this look right?

Those rings look like 69-72 instead of 67-68

Re: headlight trim - does this look right?

They are the correct ones for 67-68, just upside down and wrong sides.
