I just got a pair like those from Chevy Duty, I just finished painting them today. I took out one of the screws that holds them tight and sprayed some lubricant in there so that might help with the rust. I don't think those ones are factory original Longhorn, the ones I had on my truck that rusted out had a bit of detail on the face, just a circular crease.

Does anybody know what the original finish the bolts should be that hold the mirrors to the arm? The part with the acorn nut on the end. The replacement mirrors I got have chrome bolts but my truck looked like the bolts were painted to match the mirrors.

On the first pic i posted, the arms are original, the mirror head is Wall Mart. I got the plastic convex ones...I can see BEHIND my truck from the side mirrors...cool as h*ll. I can also see the lines in the parking spot as I back into it. I rarely use side mirrors in traffic, I don't trust them. I always look over my shoulder, so they work fine for me, only time they suck is when there is a hot chick walking behind me in a parking lot or something.
