Re: chrome stepside steps

Have you tried fine steel wool and coca cola or even a tooth brush and coca cola?Works wonders for chrome.

Re: chrome stepside steps

Take the ones you have to the nearest chrome shop and get them re-plated. I'm sure they would cost less than a new set, and look a whole lot nicer as well.

Lightbulb Re: chrome stepside steps

I would either have them rechromed or have them jet hot coated.

Any thing you buy will probably be a repop from china or taiwan either way it probably won't fit as good and be made of lighter material than what you have now.

Re: chrome stepside steps

I have been looking for them for years. I have a set that I bought back in 1986 or so but can't find them now. Mine got so bad that I had to paint them. I want the chrome ones back. I checked a few years ago about having them rechromed and if I remember right it was about $100.00 each. IF ANYONE FINDS THEM, PLEASE POST.
