throttle cable question

For those that changed out the throttle cable for a Lokar one, how did you mount it to the pedal. Pictures would be a plus too. TIA

Re: throttle cable question

On mine the top part of the pedal's rod was worn out. I ended up engineering mine on with a new hole drilled out and used the kit it came with. But then I ran into an issue and used a clamp from Home Depot in the hardware section that tightens up aircraft cable. This kept it stronger than the little ball that it had came with.

But if you can take your old one out and replace the same way it went.

Re: throttle cable question

I worked on it some today. cut the "cup" off an old throttle cable and slid it on the cable. Didn't use the end that was sent with the cable. Now to trim it to fit nicely.
