Repro rockers, who makes the best??? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I am looking for a good fitting outer rocker. The pair that I have fit like crap at the front & rear pillars. They are made in Tiawan I beleive... How well do the Goodmark/TriPlus ones fit? Don't want to spend a fortune for GM ones...

Any help would be great...

I am not sure but I would venture tos say since goodmark parts are GM liscensed I would say that they are pretty good.

We sell Tri-Plus . We install them also and never had problems with them. We have installed oem ones also and never had problems. We install everything we sell. We have a location close to you in NJ.

Just a little FYI. Goodmark is buying their rockers from Triplus. We also cary that brand. Here is a picture of the last one we installed last weak. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

i bought tri plus and the passenger side fit like a glove the driver side is non fitting piece of junk

I started with a set Tri Plus....eventually junked them and got a set from GMC Pauls. His fit correct, and are the correct gage steel. I believe the manufacturer was Key Parts or something. Don't really matter who makes them, they work though.

Many others on this board have recommended his...I searched several threads. His also are no more expensive than the others.

Save yourself the headach by GM they cost more but fit exellent .I think tere $65 apiece at www.gmpartsdirect. Or better yet buy from one of the venders that support the board.

Thats the problem I'm having... My drivers side one fits like crap where it gets spot welded to the A & B pillars... Especially the A pillar. The pass side one fits better & I don't want to spend the $$$ for a GM pass side one as I have to cut it up to put it in a burb(burbs pass rocker is different at the B pillar)
