Rocker Boxes-Best Value?

Where do you guys recommend I get RBs? I REALLY would like to take her top off but I don't want to do it without reinforcing her down under first. (can I say that?) Looking for strong AND reasonable. Thanks, Mike

There's only one manufacturer so the prices are all about the same. I'd search for the board vendor closest to you to hopefully reduce shipping.

We sell them for $99.00 each with the end caps at $35.00 each. We are one state away from you.

You should go with BGG because you both think alike.. "Bump and Grind" garage.. I have never bought from him but I have delt with him on a few issues and he is a stand up guy!

Re: Rocker Boxes-Best Value?

Even with the rocker boxes in place, you may still have some flex. I actually had to have my rollcage welded directly to the windshield frame to fix the spacing problem at my doors. Now the unit is much more secure and rigid with minimal flex at the door. The down side is that if I was putting alot of flex in the rig offroad, I'm afraid that the connection might give...or the windshield frame/windshield will snap/crackle/pop. Either way, I'll have a mess. But I don't see myself in that situation any time soon.

Re: Rocker Boxes-Best Value?

Hey, while you are under there, make sure you got good body mounts. Especially the four ones around the "cab" area. I'm replacing mine with the poly ones which are actually cheaper than the rubber ones. It makes a massive differance in door alignment, and will probably help to keep things stiff for her down there...or umm something..uhh.
