Cutting LWB to shorty..Any horror stories??
Yes..Going to cut my LWB to SWB...Would like to hear any "horror" stories about the process or after the fact..Thanks

Haven't seen any beds but I may end up with an extra short frame.

If so, let me know...Might be cheaper to get a quality short frame instead of cutting one down...Depends on what I can get it done for down here..

Horror stories....well I've seen a few hack jobs like chopping the frame behind the cab and rewelding and just chopping off the tail end of a lwb truck. But if you use the "z" cut or "step" cut method its almost fool proof if you get good clean cut that is measured correctly. Not hard and can make a good truck. You probably can, if you haven't already, do a search. There is some great info on the subject.
