Throttle rod question

To anyone running a holley and a throttle rod were do you have your rod conected? Mine was connected in the middle hole and I could never get to wide open so I moved it up to the upper big hole this moved the pedal higher and now I can get to wide open easy and pedal feels much better. Anyone know if this will cause any adverse affect I can think of none.

Thanks for any help
