Manual tranny Z-bar ...?

Bought a '68 Chevy longbed with a manual tranny. The mechanical linkage is just like mine in my '68 Firebird ... BUT, I have this feeling that it may not be the exact piece. From where it attaches to the frame, it slopes slightly downward to the block/oil filter base assembly. Believe it should be more horizontal. Doesn't seem to be binding, but I did have to replace the clutch rod from the pedal to the z-bar, as the other one was bent.

Does anyone have a good pic of what this is supposed to look like and, better yet, a pic of the block/oil filter base location, so I can see if I do have the right piece?

Many thanks ...

Dave
