Need a cure for wheel hop
Finally got my dream fulfilled and now have a posi in the rear of my 71, C20. Dream shatter when I launch and now have serious wheel hop. Will traction bars solve the problem? If so, who in the world makes the for a C20 with leaf springs and a Dana 60?

I guess going to coils wouldnt be an option :-). Glad you got it all together right. I know I got my locker in a few weeks ago and spent the better part of two days doing donuts in empty parking lots . I bet when they gave you the wrong gasket they gave you a Dana 44 gasket. Happened to me too when I got mine and my brothers too over the last weekend for his Camaro. Apparently their parts books call for a dana 44 in the rear of these trucks.
Years ago I had a dana 60 in the back of a 67 camaro that had originally come in a 69 charger. I damned near got into a fight with the guy at the parts store . He didnt want to sell me the gasket. Said it wouldnt fit. Their parts books didnt have the dana as an "option" in 69 chargers and when I told him "just give me a gasket for a 69 ford 3/4 ton truck " he went through the roof. "I'm not even going to sell it to you because that will never fit that rearend and your'e just going to bring it back . No truck rear end ever went into a charger and certainly not into a Camaro...Blah blah blah......" ... Dumbass !!!!
