Re: they dont fit

71 had a shorter pass side line because the rubber hose came from the front of the axel to the axel tube and 72 came from the rear closer to the center of the axel assy

Re: they dont fit

On my 70 the rubber brake hose mounted where I circled. I used inline tube also, and they fit great on mine. Apparently the hose mounted in different spots depending on year.

Re: they dont fit

Inline tube generally does a good job. Their main competitor I would never recommend. I waited 3 months after 6 calls I get them and they didn't even include enough to go from the front to the back plus most of it was not pre-bent like i paid for. I will bend my own from now on.

Re: they dont fit

I don't know what rear end for sure your's is, but my 82 C10 6 poppoer/T350 had the readr lines juction block where yours is. I have 4 or 5 axles at my place now for 69-72, and they all have it in the positions on the passenger side axle tube like in the second shot. So my guess would be yours was swapped out with a later 70's style rear end.

Re: they dont fit

or you could grind the tab off and weld it to the position where it will work// should take about 10minutes and no postage

Re: they dont fit

My 72 C10 coil spring burb also has the T junction for the brake hose on top of the pumpkin, not on the axle tube. Maybe your '71 truck has an early install of a '72 axle or a '72 axle swapped in.

Definitely return the new and send in the old for them to copy. Be sure to insist that they send back the old with the new to check how well they matched the new lines.
