New page dedicated to...

67-72 light duty firetrucks--one ton and less. The link is in my sig. I only have 15 post-worthy pics so far, please send me any others that you might have or find! Check it out and let me know what you think. Thanks, Ben.

P.S. - It's on Geocities, so if it exceeds my traffic allotment, then just come back later. Thanks!

Love the pics, I dig the deep dish steel wheels that are shown on a lot of them. Wish I could find a set!

Got your page bookmarked, hate the pop ups though...

Nice collection. I will look through my pics and see if I have any that you don't have. I think I might have one that you don't have.

Thanks for all the compliments.

Yep, I'm collecting ambulance pics, too. That page hasn't been created yet, though. The reason they're on the back burner is because I don't have many pics of them with the dept. name on the door, still in service. The pics I have of ambulances still in service are mostly old pics from the seventies. Ambulances are run more than firetrucks and have much shorter service lives, but most of the firetrucks I have on my site are still in service (some aren't). That's what makes them so cool--they're actual working firetrucks that people depend on to get the job done. That, and my dad's a Dallas fire fighter (30 yrs.), as was his dad, so I just love fire trucks.

Of course I'll save any pic of a 67-72 in emergency services that you post, in service or retired!

How about tow trucks? I have a small collection of them too.
They are pretty much all beat up turds though...not many 30 year old wreckers that are still pretty.

Tow trucks? Sure--send'em my way! I'll eventually have to make a general working truck page to include all versions of out trucks in "blue-collar" form.

Here you go...most came off this board, but the blue GMC was here in town and I attacked it with the digi-cam. There are 2 more here in town, just need to find out where they are so I can get some pics of them too...
E-bay rig...

Can't remember who/where on this one...

Big pic here...

longhorn69jeff and I saw this in Carlile last march. I was gonna get closer, but we were already WAY behind schedule.

Except for the bent boom, this truck was oozing with coolnes.

And here is a shot of the GMC 351 V-6 in that blue wrecker.

Coulda e-mailed them to you....but this way everyone gets a copy!
