manula to power steering ????

Does anyone offer a spacer for trucks without the p/s dimple in the frame to add p/s. I have a 68 short fleet that i am going to add p/s on. It is original manual box on it now. To run the power box i have to make spacers so that the box will clear the frame. Does anyone know if a company offers theese or should i use use some homemade ones?

i think i saw Longhorn Man suggest that this would put the line of your steering out of whack and also shift off the components (pitman arm, etc.) and screw some things up.

Most people on here I see heat up the metal and dimple it.

That is correct. It'll end up running off center, and put everything out of whack. It's been done, and most who have done it will say it's all good... but personally, I think it's kinda like bailing wire and duct tape.
I think ECE sells a plate to do it 'right' (there words, not mine) which I was rather shocked to see them offer it.
The correct way, would be to heat the frame rail with a torch and dimple it.
