Backspacing from Drum to Disc - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Does anyone know if the width of the drum brake assembly is bigger or smaller than the width of the disc brake assembly. I am trying to order some rims and am pulling teeth over backspacing.

I have drug it around all over the country in pieces. Finally back on the road in 2021. "I can't complain, but sometimes I still do. Life's been good to me so far."
