62 Chevy 4x4 Fleetside pickup

Question.....
Will a 1952 Chevy Truck Rear end fit on a 1962 Chevy truck rear end?

Re: 62 Chevy 4x4 Fleetside pickup

Not really. The 52 rear is 3.5" narrower. If it's a 1/2 ton, the 52 will be enclosed driveshaft, so it won't work at all. 3/4 ton had open rear shaft, uses the same size u-joint, but spring perches are different.

I see this is your first post, welcome to the board.
