It reads well. I have the kit and plan on installing it this summer. I might have to buy the Cokes and invite you up to Georgetown for direct help.

The tips, such as which side to put the S-bolts on and what to cut helps. Advice on the line sizes would be good also.

Absolutely! I've got the same setup in my truck. Same instructions as above except that the crossmember you may have to trim is a little different. And... I didn't have to cut mine.

What about a Suburban tank? I have a 2wd 87 suburban I though might make a good donor for my 70 2wd pickup. Both are 3/4 ton.

Good info but as far as the site goes you really need to do some photo enhancing. They are a bit on the dark side and difficult to see detail. Perhaps a HTML link to a separate page with enlarged photos. In either case The photos could use some brightening. Also mounting the fuel tank itself is pretty straightforward. I'd like to see more on options for setting up a filler neck. I'm planning on adding a second tank in the future and would like to find a way to have a fuel filler that does NOT come up through the bed as my truck gets used for a truck sometimes and I carry payloads that might shift their way into crushing or forcibly removing a fuel neck that is mounted in the bed.

Purchased this truck when I was 17. I started the rebuild (or take apart) in 1993. I have drug it around all over the country in pieces. Finally back on the road in 2021. "I can't complain, but sometimes I still do. Life's been good to me so far."
