Polyurethane cab mounts
I have a 1970 c-10 4x4 and the rubber cab mounts have just about had it. Just wondering if it would be better to polyurethane mounts would be better.
I am confused why it says it is a c10 and it is a 4x4. shouldnt it say k10. |

Re: Polyurethane cab mounts
The poly mounts are much stiffer and will not flex as much as the rubber. If your looking for a comfortable ride use rubber. ( The poly mounts will last longer ) Look at your VIN tag it should start with a K if nobody has swapped the cab or tag.

Re: Polyurethane cab mounts
does the fender emblem say C/10? there was no "K" emblem, except for the K5 blazer. so if you have a plain jane truck with no trim packages, it will say C/10 even though its 4wd.

Re: Polyurethane cab mounts
The rear cab mounts will vary between a C-10 cab, and a K-10 or all heavy model cabs. Check you're cab to make sure of what you're ordering if you have any doubts...
IF I recall correctly, K & heavier the rear cab is on the outside of the frame rail, and the C-10's are on the back of the cab, on the inside of the frame rail... I might have this backwards... |
