Saturday and Sunday only!!! Dirt cheep or free used parts!!!

I have hoods, fenders, a couple doors, 3/4 ton tires and wheels. Frame parts, rear inner fenders and etc. Getting out of the used parts business, I wasn't making any money with the used anyway. It is just too much mess to deal with and the State patrol is cracking down on us parts dealers. What isn't gone by monday will be picked up by my scrapper! This is just the stuff that I have outside in front of my shop. First come first serve! I am not reserving anything. WES

I am sorry but I do not ship give away parts. I have too much time wrapped up in them by the time you figure prepairing the part for shipping then packaging them up.
I have been backordered on the Suburban Body Mount kit for some time now. I check with my supplier once a weak and get the same story.
You can blame the state for getting me out of the used parts business. They want anyone who does this to have a dismantler's permit and a wrecking yard permit. It doesn't matter that I don't make my living from the used. I buy the used for the parts that I need to build my trucks and sell off the remaining parts to suppliment that. He also told me that they were going after anyone who is doing this, so if you are in this state... Watch out!!

well will you sell the frame parts and ship them?

72 chevy truck parts are not too easy to find here in mass and with scrap metal going for more money these days most of these trucks around here have been scrapped... so if you have any cab mounts and leaf spring mounts for a 4x4 67-72 chevy or GMC I would be willing to pay you for your parts-time-shipping... as long as it was not too pricy... so tell me what its worth to you to ship and I will let you know... just in case I will tell you what I need...

all parts are needed for a 71 chevy K10 4x4
rear leaf spring mounts both sides both sets 4 total
the frame part that holds the cab onto the frame... 4 total
rear upper shock mounts hold the upper part of shock... 2 total
the rear cross member... the little one... the big one and the rear one...

I basically need a entire frame but if you have good parts I am thinking about converting over to a 73-87 frame so if you have these parts at a good price I would love to make a deal.. thanks and sorry your state is giving you a hard time... my state also is not very nice when it comes to old cars... or any car for that matter....

Sorry to hear that you are being forced out of the used parts business. I never had a real business just a old hillbilly that lived 7 miles from town on a tar and chip road with a few (33) old trucks that I used parts off of to fix trucks that I bought or traded for. I used the money I made to supplement my low paying daytime job so I could have a few things that I wanted or needed. All it took was one complaint from a local realtor that bought a old farm just past my place that wanted to build a few low budget houses and here come codes enforcement. I was given 7 days to get rid of my fleet or build a fence to their specks to hide them. It was going to be $100 a day per truck fine for what was there. I sold what I could and gave away the rest. I bought some land the next county over and have started another collection. So far so good.

Ron 586, I think that it is a shame that things have gotten as bad as they are. This effects everyone who wants to resore and trade in any vehicle and not just these trucks. If it wasn't for guys like you and others who, buy, sell, trade and fix up these old relicks, there wouldn't be the show pieces that so many people own. I didn't even buy any of these trucks with the express purpouse of selling thier parts. I bought them so that I had parts for my projects and would sell off what was left over to help pay for the trucks. Oh well!! Here in a few hours it won't matter much anyway. This will all be gone to the scrapper. WES

The Blazer top is going to a guy who bought a 72 CST Blazer from me. Everything else is now gone, with the exception of 3 sets of 3/4 ton wheels and tires. One set is white spoke, or wagon wheels with decent tires. All of those are free for the taking still. All you need to do is come get them. WES
