oil in water??
after breaking in my cam on the 350 i drained the oil and it looked normal. i fired it back up after installing the exhaust and checked the oil and it looked milky. the temp was 185 and the oil pressure around 60. i thought a blown head gasket but they were alright. i took the block in and had it pressure tested for cracks. they said the block was alright. what other things would cause this problem? intake manifold leak? or...?? heads are rebuilt heavy cast heads and check out alright also.

Did you use enough sealant around the water passages before installing the intake gaskets?Thats probably where the water seeped in from.

Are you sure it wasn't assembly lube in the oil? Usually the first couple of oil changes I do after a new motor The oil is clouded from the assembly lube. Also did you put on the heads? and if so did you use thread sealant on the head bolts? It's probably stuff you already know but I thought I would throw them out there to consider just in case. Hope you get it figured out.
