who has done a 4/6 drop on 63-66?
hey guys im looking to drop my truck for my next project and need some advise. if you have dropped/slamed your 63-66 chime in on what you did and pictures of the stance. I already have 2.5in drop spindles on the front but am contemplating 2in springs up front and 5 or 6 in the back. i do not want to c-notch or any other custom modification. im looking at kits with springs, shocks(relocated), sway bars and track bar.

..here's a 4/4 drop..you might want to concider a 3 1/2 drop in front...mine set at 4"..and those parking lot bumps and and concrete car stops...don't move when you get to close...here's mine....this is ALL the band width would allow..there's more on my webshots page...

Quote:
1. did you use the original shocks or new lowered ones? 2. did you need to relocate the shock mounts. 3. is the panhard bar necessary? thanks

Here's mine. Not the best picture since it's on a lift but....
This is 2.5 inch spindles front, 4 inch coils rear, adjustable panhard bar (probably didn't need it), no frame notch. I haven't driven the truck since doing the suspension (motor swap) so I can't give you riding impressions.

..OK...question
# 1...stock shocks, good ones... # 2...yes... # 3...the panhard bar keeps the rearend in line with the frame and the driveline so "yo ass-end won't wobble all over" ..anything else??...
