wood or steel box

I am looking for info on the boxes for the 67-72 chevs, I have a 71 with a steel floored box but have an opportunity to get a woold floored box, what years did they supply wood floored boxes or could you choose in these years whether you bought steel or wood. Thanx, look forward to hearing your answers.

Re: wood or steel box

All step side beds up to 1988, 6 1/2 foot, 8 foot, and 9 foot, only came in wood.
All longhorn trucks, 68 - 72, only came in wood
67 - 72 short fleet and long fleet, came standard with steel, optional wood.
The same on the fleet sides could be had into the 73 - 87 trucks, but I am unsure when they stopped offering wood in the fleets.
