Finally got enough done to drive it around this weekend and man it has a lot of rake but i had a blast cant wait till its all done.
Early classic drop and front runners sure put it in the weeds. Attachment 202898 Attachment 202899 Attachment 202900 Attachment 202901

Re: Got Rake
Goodyear 30x12.5x15 I believe. Rims are 15x12 5in bs and truck has been backhalfed so setup wont fit stock GMC with leafsprings but should work fine on trailing arm setup.

Re: Got Rake
Nice looking truck, how about a little more info on your motor specs, rear end etc. What are you running for times? And of course some more pics wouldn't hurt either.

Re: Got Rake
Its got a 60 over 454, eagle forged assembly, 12.5 compression ,factory ported and polished iron heads big valves , crane valve trane roller rockers cam ect, 574 lift on one side cant remember the specs , deep oil pan , hooker headers, some aluminum pieces for eye candy ie valve covers timing cover ect,
MSD for spark, Pretty much it on motor really just a bunch of stuff nobody wanted with exception to the eagle stuff. Has TCI powerglide 4500 stall trans brake. Ford 9 inch with S&W ladder bar set up and 5.13 gears with spool. Just got it going again after couple year lay over and it needs new rear tires plus this and that but hopefully soon I can get it to the track. Did have it scaled and its a little more than 60 / 40 so i need to get some more weight off the front. 3100 pounds with me out of truck. keith

Re: Got Rake
The rear lights are from a Sooner horse trailer.
They work well but I really couldnt find anything else that would fit at the time so in they went. keith
