Hello,
I am new to the board, and am going to be starting on a 3/4 ton 72 GMC Longbed Stepside project. This is my first restore so I am sure I am going to be asking alot of questions. My first one being, is there any known resource for finding decent used bed parts for this type of truck? If anything would prefer around the Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Eastern Ohio areas. I know the longbed stepside is not a favorite, but I really like the look of it. Thanks everyone

looks like maybe from a 55-59???

Yeah,, I am not sure what the fenders are off of. Due to some serious cancer though throughout the bed I am probably going to have to replace the entire thing. I seem to be able to find everything new except for the bed steps. If I could find things used in fixable shape I would do it though. The normal things are rusty as well,, cab mounts, floorboards, rockers (inner and outer), door bottoms, and cab corners. I am Going to be spending alot of quality time with a cutting wheel and a welder

The entire bed is off of a 55-66 truck. I don't think the 67-72 steps will interchange with the 55-66 steps and the steps are correct for the fenders. Either way, looks like a real nice start for a PA truck!
